Definition and Usage

The fileinode() function returns the inode of the specified file.

Note: The result of this function is cached. Use clearstatcache() to clear the cache.

fileinode(filename)

filename Required. Specifies the path to the file to check

Return Value: The inode number of the file on success, FALSE on failure
