Return the current date and time:

SELECT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP();

Definition and Usage

The CURRENT_TIMESTAMP() function returns the current date and time.

Note: The date and time is returned as "YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS" (string) or as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.uuuuuu (numeric).
